Proposed: Rollins Drive Safety Measures in Fairfax County

This project will implement safety measures at the Rollins Drive and Fort Hunt Road intersection due to community concerns about pedestrian and driver safety.

A community meeting held by the VDOT team with Fairfax County Supervisor Dan Storck and around 90 residents on Jan. 26. The VDOT team presented a proposal for a temporary closure of Rollins Drive at Fort Hunt Road. The proposal was not supported by the large majority of the residents who attended the meeting. As a result, the VDOT team will be evaluating alternative options such as turn lane restrictions.
