TWO-WAY TRAFFIC RESTORED ON GEORGE STREET IN FREDERICKSBURG
Both travel lanes are open again on George Street between Caroline Street and Sophia Street; Brief lane closures downtown for additional utility work on March 6 and March 11-13

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Drivers can again travel in both directions on George Street in the City of Fredericksburg between Caroline and Sophia streets.

The temporary one-way traffic pattern in place on George Street has been removed. During the next two weeks, motorists should be alert for several work zones in Fredericksburg for utility relocation that will require temporary lane closures. This work has been scheduled weather permitting. Real-time updates will be available on 511virginia.org.
