About the Project
This project modifies the Route 28 intersection at Old Centreville Road/Blooms Quarry Lane to eliminate conflicting traffic movements and improve safety. Improvements include:
- Eliminating three of the four left-turn movements (maintaining Route 28 southbound left-turns to Blooms Quarry Lane)
- Lengthening the southbound Route 28 dual left-turn lanes to eastbound Manassas Drive by modifying the raised concrete median.
