About the Project

This project extended the box culvert and widened Lee Road (Route 661) over Schneider Branch in Fairfax County, relieving congestion by eliminating an existing choke point. Construction began June 2, 2014. All four lanes of Lee Road through the project opened to traffic January 29, 2015, with the entire project completed February 6, 2015.
