About the Project
This project will make several improvements to the intersection of Lee Highway (Route 29) and Nutley Street (Route 243) in Fairfax County, including:
- Adding a second left-turn lane from eastbound Lee Highway to northbound Nutley Street
- Constructing a raised concrete median along Route 29 just east of Nutley to improve safety
- Upgrading the existing traffic signal equipment
No right of way, easements or utilities are expected to be required or relocated for this project.
