About the Project
The average daily traffic for Lakeside Drive (Route 620) is nearly 13,000 vehicles per day, with a projected increase in average daily traffic to almost 16,000 vehicles by 2033. This proposed project is designed to improve traffic flow through the Lakeside Drive corridor by adding left and right turn lanes at intersections. Improvements also call for paved shoulder and curb and gutter.
Planning and engineering is underway with construction scheduled to begin in 2013. Right-of-way was completed in June 2006. Advertisement is planned for February 2013.
