Project Details

Ten interchanges, a total of forty-one entrance and exit ramps will be repaved for both the north- and southbound direction as a part of this project by contractor crews. The paving will take place between State Route 629, Skipps (Exit 4) in Greensville County to State Route 602, Stony Creek (Exit 33) in Sussex County.

Work zones will not be active during rush hours from 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, or on weekends from 5:30 a.m. on Saturday to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. 

Impact to the public will be minimal. Variable message signs will be utilized to inform motorists of impacted areas and will be accompanied by detour signs for motorists' navigation.
