Route 638 (Oak Row Road)
Project at a Glance
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is proposing to install two 72-inch pipes, with end walls and rip rap, on Route 638 (Oak Row Road) in Richmond County to improve drainage and minimize flooding during storm events.
During construction, Route 638 would be temporarily closed at Snyder Swamp, and a detour would be put into place for through traffic.
The public is invited to attend a design public hearing for proposed drainage improvements on Route 638 (Oak Row Road) in Richmond County.
The design public hearing will be held:
Thursday, July 17, 2014
Richmond County Circuit Court
Public Meeting Room

Warsaw, VA 22572
Stop by anytime between 5-7 p.m. to meet with Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) staff to view proposed design plans and maps, ask questions, and provide comment on the projects. There will be no formal presentation.
For anyone unable to attend the design public hearing or information meeting, comments may also be submitted through the close of business on Monday, July 28, 2014.
