Project Overview

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will install two 72-inch pipes, with end walls and rip rap, on Route 638 (Oak Row Road) in Richmond County to improve drainage and minimize flooding during storm events.

During construction, Route 638 would be temporarily closed at Snyder Swamp, and a detour would be put into place for through traffic.
