Project Overview

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is designing an overpass replacement at Interstate 95 on Route 606 (Mudd Tavern Road), which is part of an interstate interchange at Exit 118/Thornburg. 

The current structure has two travel lanes and narrow shoulders. VDOT seeks to bring the overpass in line with modern design standards, as well as expand the bridge to accommodate any future widening of I-95.

Stop by anytime between 5-7 p.m. to meet with Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) staff to view proposed design plans and maps, ask questions, and provide comment on the project. There will be no formal presentation.

For anyone unable to attend the design public hearing, comments may also be submitted through the close of business on Friday, May 30, 2014.
