Route 17 has been restored to four travel lanes at the project site.
This estimated $9.9 million project built a new four-lane bridge over Tignor Creek near June Parker Marina.
The inside travel lanes of the bridge are 12 feet. The outside travel lanes are 14 feet to better accommodate cyclists.
Construction began in January 2014. Bryant Contracting, Inc., of Toano, Va., was the project contractor.
