The City of Charlottesville is constructing a multi-modal roadway project to replace the at-grade intersection of the Route 250 Bypass and McIntire Road. The diamond-shaped, grade-separated interchange includes a connection to the southern leg of the John W. Warner Parkway. The new interchange will include shared-use paths, sidewalks and bike lanes.

The project schedule is as follows:

Project Advertised:  November 11, 2012

Bids Received:  January 8, 2013

Work Commenced:  March 4, 2013

Opened to Traffic: February 5, 2014

Fixed Final Completion Date:  July 2, 2015
