Construction was completed on Nov. 17, 2009, 13 days ahead of the scheduled completion date. The project was $165,105 under the contract cost upon completion. 

 

About the Project

What's being done?
This project will widen Route 15 (James Madison Highway) from two lanes to four lanes from 0.10 mi. south of the north corporate limits of the Town of Culpeper to the intersection with Route 666.

Traffic flow improvement and safer intersections. 

Features
This project will add two additional lanes with sidewalk, curb and gutter and upgrade intersections.

Impact on Traffic
Traffic will be reduced to one lane as needed through the project and will be controlled by flaggers.
