What's Being Done

Preliminary engineering and right of way acquisition is underway for Route 460 - Phase III, a 1.18-mile section which extends from Route 615 to Royal City. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2010. The construction estimate for Phase III is approximately $15 million.

The Route 460 - Phase I project in Grundy was completed in summer 2009.  Work began in spring 2009 on Route 460 - Phase II, which is scheduled for completion in November 2011.

Benefits

Widening of Route 460 in the Grundy area will complete the four-laning of Route 460 from Claypool Hill to Grundy.
