Please note that this is not a guide for identifying existing bicycling opportunities in Virginia.
We offer free safety materials to certain organizations to aid in bicycle and pedestrian safety events. These materials are to only be given out at organized bicycle and pedestrian safety events or by a governmental agency.
These materials are most commonly given to local police departments for use
in bicycle rodeos. Other appropriate uses include the Boy Scouts' bicycling
merit badge, Safe Routes to Schools programs, and other school-related
events.
Items include helmet stickers, florescent stickers, reflective wrist
bands, and pants straps.

The Bike Smart! Virginia and
Walk Smart! Virginia resource guides are available from the Center for
Injury and Violence Prevention at the
