PART OF ROUTE 611 IN ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY CLOSED MARCH 13-14
STAUNTON – A portion of Route 611 (South Buffalo Road) in Rockbridge County is scheduled to be closed from 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, through 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, for a drainage pipe replacement. The closure is 2.9 miles south of Route 612 (Bluegrass Trail) and 2.3 miles north of Route 661 (Snakefoot Lane).
Signs will guide through traffic on Route 611 to use the following detours:
- Southbound drivers will follow Route 612 west, Route 662 (Spring Branch Road) south and then Route 661 south to the end of the detour.
- Northbound drivers will follow Route 611 north, Route 662 north and then Route 612 east to the end of the detour.
All work is weather permitting.
