ONE LANE OPEN ON I-81 NORTHBOUND IN ROCKINGHAM COUNTY
STAUNTON – (10:20 a.m.) The right lane of northbound Interstate 81 has reopened in Rockingham County, following a tractor trailer crash earlier this morning at mile marker 253 near Harrisonburg. Incident responders continue working to clear the scene, but there is no estimate for reopening the left lane.
The I-81 northbound detour has been lifted, but traffic is currently backed up about 10 miles. Motorists can expect related congestion on Route 11.
