ONE LANE OPEN ON I-81 NORTHBOUND IN ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY
STAUNTON – (8:20 a.m.) The left lane has reopened on Interstate 81 northbound in Rockbridge County, following an early morning tractor trailer crash at mile marker 175 in the Natural Bridge area. Interstate maintenance crews are in the process of lifting the detour for I-81 northbound traffic.
Cleanup continues at this location, and motorists should expect significant delays through Thursday morning. Traffic is currently backed up about five miles.
