TRACTOR TRAILER CRASH CLOSES LANE ON I-81 NORTHBOUND IN SHENANDOAH COUNTY

STAUNTON – (6:10 a.m.) The left lane of northbound Interstate 81 is closed in Shenandoah County due to cleanup and recovery operations from a tractor trailer crash. The incident took place about 10:45 Thursday night at mile marker 265 near New Market.

Traffic on northbound I-81 may be restricted to a single lane for several more hours. Motorists may experience delays in this area during their Friday morning commute.
