ROUTE 803 IN FREDERICK COUNTY CLOSED AUG. 29 – SEPT. 2 FOR RAILROAD CROSSING WORK
STAUNTON – A portion of Route 803 (Round Hill Road) in Frederick County is scheduled to close from 7 a.m. Monday, August 29, to 6 p.m. Friday, September 2. This closure is for upgrades to a railroad crossing. All work is weather permitting.
Route 803 will be closed between Route 654 (Poorhouse Road) and Route 654 (Woodchuck Lane) in the Round Hill area west of Winchester. Motorists can use Route 654 (Poorhouse Road) and Route 50 (Northwestern Pike) as a detour route.
The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
