ROUTE 7 PIPE REPLACEMENT REQUIRES SINGLE-LANE TRAFFIC NEAR WINCHESTER JUNE 13-17
STAUNTON – A traffic-pattern change for a pipe replacement on westbound Route 7 (Berryville Pike) in Frederick County is scheduled nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday, June 13, through the morning of Friday, June 17. Eastbound and westbound traffic will be limited to a single lane between Millbrook Drive and Regency Lakes Drive near Winchester.
Westbound drivers will cross the median at Millbrook Drive and use one lane of eastbound Route 7 through the work zone, and then follow a second crossover at Regency Lakes Drive to return to westbound Route 7.
Eastbound Route 7 will be restricted to the right lane only to allow for the two-way traffic around the work zone.
During the closure access to Blossom Drive will only be allowed from eastbound Route 7. Westbound traffic needing to access Blossom Drive should use Greenwood Road for access.
All work is weather permitting.
