PORTION OF ROUTE 618 IN BATH COUNTY CLOSED MAY 9-13 FOR PIPE REPLACEMENT WORK

STAUNTON – Route 618 (Dunns Gap Road) in Bath County in the area of Mitchelltown will be closed near the intersection of Route 646 (Meadowview Road) and Route 687 (Jackson River Turnpike) for a pipe replacement.

Work is scheduled to begin Monday, May 9, at 7 a.m. with an estimated completion on Friday, May 13, at 3:30 p.m.  There will be no detour at this location.  

All work is weather permitting. 

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
