PART OF ROUTE 748 IN ROCKINGHAM COUNTY CLOSING MAY 31 FOR BRIDGE REPAIRS

STAUNTON – The Route 748 (Thomas Springs Road) bridge over Spring Creek is scheduled to close Tuesday, May 31, through Thursday, June 2, for bridge repairs. The work zone is located 0.1 mile east of Route 613 (Spring Creek Road).

The following detours will be in place 24/7 until work has been completed:

  • Route 748 to Route 613 north to Route 752 east to Route 909 southeast, then back to Route 748 and end of detour.
         
  • Route 748 to Route 909 northwest to Route 752 east to Route 613 south, then back to Route 748 and end of detour.

All work is weather permitting.
