ONE LANE OPEN ON NORTHBOUND I-81 IN HARRISONBURG
STAUNTON – (9:05 a.m.) The left lane of northbound Interstate 81 in Harrisonburg has reopened, following a tractor trailer crash about 5:30 this morning near mile marker 245. The detour has been lifted, but motorists should continue to expect significant delays in this area. Traffic on northbound I-81 is currently backed up about four miles.
The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
