I-81 OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES FOR PAVING AT EXIT 310 IN FREDERICK COUNTY

STAUNTON – Motorists on northbound and southbound Interstate 81 can expect overnight lane closures September 22-23, 2016. These traffic restrictions are for milling and paving in the area of the exit 310 interchange reconstruction project near Winchester.

The right lanes of I-81 northbound and southbound are scheduled to be closed between mile markers 310 and 311 on Thursday, September 22, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, and Friday, September 23, from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. the following morning. The on- and off-ramps at exit 310 will remain open during these operations.

All work is weather permitting.

General Excavation Inc. (GEI) of Warrenton, Va. was awarded a construction contract valued at nearly $25 million. The exit 310 project is scheduled for completion in May 2018.
