I-81 NORTHBOUND LANE CLOSURE JULY 2 FOR CABLE BARRIER REPAIR IN ROCKINGHAM COUNTY
STAUNTON – The northbound left lane of Interstate 81 will close for about two hours early Saturday morning, July 2, near mile marker 251 in Rockingham County. This lane closure is needed for emergency repairs to a high-tension cable barrier that was damaged Friday morning during a vehicle crash.
Repairs are scheduled to take place Saturday from 12 midnight to about 2 a.m. All work is weather permitting.
The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
