STAUNTON – There will be ramp closures for paving work on Interstate 81 southbound at exit 296 in the Strasburg area of Shenandoah County.  This work will be on the southbound on and off ramps.

The closures will be on Monday, September 19 beginning at 10 p.m. and ending at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20.  The closures will also be on Tuesday, September 20 at 10 p.m. and ending on Wednesday, September 21 at 5 a.m.

I-81 exit 296 is in Strasburg at Route 55.  This location is between exit 291 at Route 651 in Toms Brook and exit 298 at Route 11 in Strasburg. Traffic will be directed to exit 291 and 298 to use as detours.

All work is weather permitting,
