DETOURS PLACED ON ROUTE 11 AND I-81 SOUTHBOUND OFF RAMP AT EXIT 213 IN AUGUSTA COUNTY

STAUNTON – (4:55 p.m.) Motorists should expect delays and detours in the vicinity of Route 11 near the Interstate 81 interchange at exit 213 in Augusta County.  A crash on Route 11 in this area occurred this afternoon in a paving work zone.

Route 11 northbound traffic will be directed to Route 340.  Route 11 southbound traffic will use I-81 southbound.  Exit 205 at Route 606 in Raphine can be used to turn around.

I-81 southbound traffic at exit 213 will not be able to use ramp A which takes traffic to Route 11 southbound.

I-81 northbound traffic at exit 213 will have the exit ramp closed.  The next exit is 217 at Route 654 in the Mint Spring area.
