BRIDGE REPLACEMENT WILL CLOSE ROUTE 714 IN ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY SEPTEMBER 19-30

STAUNTON – A bridge replacement over a tributary of Sheep Creek is scheduled to close a portion of Route 714 (Mackeys Lane) in Rockbridge County from Monday, September 19, to Friday, September 30. All work is weather permitting. 

Through traffic will use these detours: Motorists approaching from Route 11 (Lee Highway) will detour onto Route 712 (Walucman Drive) and then Route 706 (Borden Grant Trail) to the end of the detour. Motorists approaching from Route 706 will detour onto Route 716 (Timber Ridge Road) and then Route 11 to the end of the detour. 

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
