A PORTION OF ROUTE 698 IN ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY CLOSED MARCH 17 FOR DRAINAGE WORK
STAUNTON – The Virginia Department of Transportation will close a portion of Route 698 (Round Hill Road) to through traffic on Thursday, March 17, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., for pipe installation and drainage work. The work zone is located between Route 608 (Forge Road) and Route 700 (Bunker Hill Mill Road) in Rockbridge County.
Motorists should avoid this area and use alternate routes during this time frame. Rain date is March 18. All work is weather permitting.
