SHENANDOAH COUNTY - A PORTION OF ROUTE 623 WILL BE CLOSED FOR A BOX CULVERT REPLACEMENT MAY 5-6

STAUNTON Route 623 (Back Road) in the Strasburg area of Shenandoah County will be closed from 8 a.m. May 5 to 4 p.m. May 6 for a box culvert replacement. The work zone is located 15 feet north of Route 601.

 

Motorists will use these detours: Southbound traffic will travel east on Route 55 (John Marshall Highway) to I-81 south, then take exit 291 (Toms Brook) and travel west on Route 651 (Mount Olive Road) to the end of detour.  Northbound traffic will travel east on Route 651 (Mount Olive Road) to I-81 north, then take exit 296 (Route 55, John Marshall Highway) and travel west on Route 55 (John Marshall Highway) to the end of detour.

 

All work is weather permitting.
