ROUTE 60 OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES FOR ROUTE 11 BYPASS BRIDGE WORK APRIL 26 TO MAY 7
Work Zone Near Lexington City limits

STAUNTON There will be single lane closures eastbound and westbound on Route 60 (Midland Trail) for bridge work on the Route 11 Bypass bridge over Route 60.  The work zone is near the Lexington City limits.

 

Sunday through Thursday overnight lane closures will begin Sunday, April 26, at 7 p.m. and end Thursday, May 7, at 5 a.m. There will be no daytime closures, and no closures Friday or Saturday night. 


All work is weather permitting.

 

Motorists can expect delays and may want to use alternate routes when possible.

 

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.

 

Traffic alerts and traveler information can be obtained by dialing 511 and at 511Virginia.org. For other assistance call the VDOT Customer Service Center 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Citizens can dial 1-800-FOR- ROAD (1-800-367-7623) from anywhere in the state to report road hazards, ask transportation questions, or get information related to Virginia’s roads.
