INTERSTATE 81 LANE CLOSURES MAY 26 IN ROCKINGHAM COUNTY
For Bridge Inspection Over North River

STAUNTON Northbound and southbound single lane closures at I- 81 mile marker 239 in Rockingham County are scheduled for Tuesday, May 26 from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning. This work location is about a mile south of exit 240 in the Mount Crawford area. 

 

This work continues a bridge inspection over North River that was originally scheduled for May 19, but delayed due to weather. 

 

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
