I-81 SOUTHBOUND LANE CLOSURES IN AUGUSTA COUNTY OVERNIGHT AUGUST 27-28

STAUNTON – The Virginia Department of Transportation has scheduled mobile lane closures along southbound Interstate 81 in Augusta County from 8 p.m. Thursday, August 27, to 7 a.m. Friday, August 28. The single-lane closures will take place between mile marker 218 and 214 just south of Staunton.

 

These closures will allow crews to do pavement testing. All work is weather permitting.

For other assistance call the VDOT Customer Service Center, available 24 hours-a-day, seven days a week. Citizens can dial 1-800-FOR- ROAD (1-800-367-7623) from anywhere in the state to report road hazards, ask transportation questions, or get information related to Virginia’s roads.
