STAUNTON –  (7:45 p.m.) All northbound lanes have reopened on Interstate 81 northbound lanes near mile marker 283 in the Woodstock area of Shenandoah County.

Earlier this afternoon a multi-vehicle crash closed all I-81 northbound lanes in this location. 

Motorists should  continue to expect significant delays in this area as traffic clears. . The Virginia Department of Transportation Staunton Traffic Operations Center is reporting over a seven mile back-up.

The crash happened around 4:50 p.m.  Five vehicles are reported in this crash.
