A PORTION OF ROUTE 627 IN ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY CLOSED JULY 27 TO AUGUST 7 FOR A BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

STAUNTON – A portion of Route 627 (Sycamore Valley Drive) will close for a bridge replacement over Gilmer Creek at 8 a.m. July 27.  The project is estimated to be complete by 5 p.m. August 7.  The work zone is located 0.25 mile north of Route 628 (Mohler’s Loop) to 0.95 mile north of Route 622 (Chestnut Grove Trail).

 

Traffic traveling north will be detoured to Route 755 (Dug Row Road), then to Route 626 (Hackens Road).  Traffic traveling south will detour to Route 626 (Hackens Road) and then to Route 755 (Dug Row Road).  

 

All work is weather permitting.
