SINGLE LANE TRAFFIC ON I-81 NORTHBOUND TONIGHT IN PART OF AUGUSTA COUNTY
STAUNTON – Interstate 81 northbound will have the right lane closed beginning at 7 p.m. tonight, Saturday, January 25 at mile marker 223.2 in Augusta County. This location is between exit 222 at Route 250 and exit 225 at Route 262.
This closure is to allow crews to clean up a tractor trailer crash. The accident happened this morning. Following the crash, crews had to unload the truck contents.
Tonight crews will remove the truck that is located on the side of the road. Both lanes are expected to be open by the dawn hours.
Motorists may encounter some delays in the area of this work
