ROUTE 721 IN ROCKINGHAM COUNTY CLOSED DECEMBER 2 – 3
STAUNTON – A portion of Route 721 (Fellowship Road) in Rockingham County is scheduled to be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, December 2-3, 2014 during geological work for a future project. The closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, and will extend from Route 11 (Valley Pike) to Route 717 (Indian Trail Road).
Drivers using Route 721 will be directed on one of these posted detours:
- Westbound traffic will detour east on Route 721, north on Route 717, west on Route 806 (Martz Road), then south on Route 11 back to Route 721.
- Eastbound traffic will detour west on Route 721, north on Route 11, east on Route 806 (Martz Road), then south on Route 717 back to Route 721.
Route 721 is expected to reopen about 3 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3. All work is weather permitting.
