STAUNTON – On week days from July 28 to August 11 blasting operations may occur on Route 603 (Oregon Hollow Road) in Warren County.  If blasting is necessary it will occur between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Delays may last up to one hour each day, which allows crews to clear the roadway of any debris. Message Boards will alert motorist of potential delays and traffic will be controlled by flaggers.

This work is part of a road reconstruction and paving project that will widen Route 603 to two 10-foot lanes with 3- to 5-foot shoulders. The project will run from the intersection of Route 647 to about 0.34 mile north of the intersection. Estimated completion of the reconstruction project is December 2014.  All work is weather permitting.
