I-64 LANE CLOSURES THIS WEEK IN ALLEGHANY COUNTY

STAUNTON – Repairs to the cable-barrier system along Interstate 64 in Alleghany County will create left-lane closures on Thursday and Friday, March 27-28, 2014. This work will repair damage to the eastbound and westbound barriers caused by a tractor trailer accident.

 

On Thursday, March 27 the eastbound left lane will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. from mile marker 19 to 21 near Covington. On Friday, March 28 the westbound left lane will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. from mile marker 21 to 19. All work is weather permitting.

 

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
