SINGLE LANE CLOSURES WILL LAST INTO THE AFTERNOON ON I-81 AT EXIT 317 IN FREDERICK COUNTY

STAUNTON – (11:45 a.m.) On Interstate 81 southbound at exit 317 in Frederick County there is a single lane closure on the I-81 bridge over the Winchester and Western Railroad.  The southbound right lane is closed.  Earlier this morning a hole in the bridge deck was discovered.

Repairs are ongoing at the site and the lane is estimated to reopen around 4 p.m. today.

Motorists should expect delays in this area.
