SHENANDOAH COUNTY – ROUTE 691 TO BE CLOSED FOR BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
STAUNTON – Route 691 (Dellinger Acres Road) in the Edinburg area of Shenandoah County will be closed for two weeks beginning Monday, July 1, 2013 at 8 a.m. The affected portion of the road is from 1.75 miles east of Route 717 to 0.95 miles west of Route 705.
This closure will allow VDOT crews to replace a bridge. Estimated completion is Friday, July 12, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists can use the following detours: Westbound traffic will travel south on Route 705 (Buggy Ridge Road), west on Route 703 (Jerome Road), north on Route 611 (Supinlick Ridge Road), north on Route 717 (Liberty Furnace Road) to end of detour at Route 691.
Eastbound traffic will travel south on Route 717 (Liberty Furnace Road), south on Route 611 (Supinlick Ridge Road) to east on Route 703 (Jerome Road), north on Route 705 (Buggy Ridge Road) to end of detour at Route 691.
