INTERSTATE 81 EXIT 247B TO CLOSE FOR FOUR NIGHTS
STAUNTON – The Interstate 81 northbound off-ramp at exit 247B in Harrisonburg will be closed for road work on August 12 to 15 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night. This is at exit 247 at Route 33.
I-81 northbound traffic exiting off I-81 at exit 247B: Detour: use exit 247A to east Rte 33 U-turn to westbound Route 33.
I-81 northbound traffic exiting off I-81 at exit 247A: No detour, head eastbound on Route 33.
Eastbound Route 33 onto I-81 northbound: Detour: use Route 33 eastbound to first traffic signal. Make a U-turn to westbound Route 33 and follow signs to the I-81 northbound on-ramp.
All work is weather permitting.
