I‐81 SLOW ROLL CLOSURES SCHEDULED FOR JULY 14 AND 21 IN FREDERICK COUNTY
For Installation of Overhead Communication Lines

STAUNTON – Motorists should be alert for northbound and southbound “slow‐roll lane closures” on Sunday, July 14 and Sunday, July 21 along a stretch of Interstate 81 through Frederick County.  The closures are needed for installation of overhead communication lines.

The July 14 slow‐roll will between mile marker 300 and 307.

The July 21 slow‐roll will be between mile marker 307 and 313.

Both closures will be completed between 6:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

All work is weather permitting, and slow‐roll times are subject to change.

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
