STAUNTON – (12:20 p.m.) An accident involving a logging truck has closed all lanes of Route 211 on both sides of the mountain in the area of the Shenandoah and Page County line.  The truck is located on Route 211 in the eastbound lanes at Route 834 in Shenandoah County.

The load of logs has spilled out into the road. The Virginia Department of Transportation Staunton Traffic Operations Center staff indicates it will be several hours before the road is able to be reopened.  A medical flight is providing service to this crash site.

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
