LEFT LANE CLOSED ON I-81 SOUTHBOUND IN ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY

STAUNTON – (2:15 p.m.) A tractor-trailer incident has closed the left southbound lane of Interstate 81 at mile marker 174 in Rockbridge County.

The Virginia Department of Transportation Staunton Traffic Operations Center estimates the lane will reopen in three to four hours.

Motorists should expect significant delays in this area.

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
