BRIDGE CLOSED ON ROUTE 867 IN ROCKINGHAM COUNTY
STAUNTON –A portion of Route 867 (North River Road) in Rockingham County is closed. The road closure is at the bridge located near Route 682 (Friedens Church Road).
The bridge sustained some damage following a crash at the bridge site on Nov. 18. No reopening date has been set yet.
Repair plans are being developed by the VDOT Staunton District structure and bridge engineer. A timeline for repairs will be announced in the near future.
The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
