ALL I-81 NORTHBOUND LANES OPEN AT TRACTOR TRAILER CRASH SITE IN HARRISONBURG

STAUNTON – 11:10 a.m. All travel lanes are now open on Interstate 81 northbound in Harrisonburg.  Earlier this morning a multi-vehicle tractor-trailer crash had closed both northbound lanes at mile marker 244 northbound, which is between exit 245 at Port Republic Road and exist 243 at Route 11 in southern Harrisonburg.

Information on traffic conditions can be obtained on VDOT’s 511 site or phone service at 511Virginia.org or by dialing 511.  VDOT has Android and iPhone/iPad apps for 511.

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
