ROUTE 285 CLOSED IN AUGUSTA COUNTY
STAUNTON – (5:45 a.m.) Both northbound and southbound lanes of Route 285 (Tinkling Springs Road) in the vicinity of Jefferson Highway are closed in Augusta County.
An incident has caused a power pole to break and block the lanes.
This location is from Route 642 (Mule Academy Road) to Jefferson Highway.
No estimate for reopening the lanes has been provided by the Virginia Department of Transportation Staunton Traffic Operations Center.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes, drive with caution and expect delays in this area.
