PORTION OF ROUTE 617 TO CLOSE IN ALLEGHANY COUNTY
STAUNTON – Route 617 (Jamison Mountain Road) in Covington will be closed due to a slope failure. This location is at 0.77 miles south of the intersection of Route 618 (Upper Rich Patch Road) and 0.84 miles north of the Craig County line. The road will be closed to thru traffic during repairs on June 9 and 10, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
Signs will be posted.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
