STAUNTON – A section of Route 610 (Plank Road), northbound and southbound in Rockbridge County will be closed for bridge replacement work. This location is from 0.60 mile south of Route 692 (Cedar Creek Road) to 0.90 mile north of Route 693 (High Bridge Church Road). Route 610 will be closed March 29 to April 29, 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week.

The new bridge will replace the structure over the tributary to Cedar Creek.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.

All work is weather permitting.
